The health and wellbeing of our employees and contractors is crucial to our success. We encourage a culture in which people look out for each other, feel comfortable in discussing their health and wellbeing, and have access to specialist support whenever they need it.
Trident Energy's role
We are committed to providing a workplace that enhances and supports people’s mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Throughout the year, we conduct and invest in numerous campaigns to promote health and wellbeing.
Outcome
Throughout 2024, workplace events, workshops and activities took place, with special focuses in January, October and November, featuring health experts and charity partners such as Breast Cancer Now, Men Who Talk, and All Health Matters. These events covered topics including menopause, nutritional planning, emotional resilience and mental clarity. Sessions also focused on breast and prostate cancer awareness.
Other key initiatives included:
A business-wide flu vaccination drive , alongside mini health checks to ensure teams stayed healthy and informed;
A meditation and mindfulness workshop to help people pause, de-stress and refocus, wherever they are;
Presentations on private healthcare and insurance to help employees understand the benefits available to them;
A special discussion workshop to raise the importance of men’s mental health, challenging stigmas and health fears; and
Numerous events to boost physical wellbeing, including fun runs across our locations’, self-defense classes, and our annual global charity fitness challenge where mixed teams from across the business onshore/offshore record daily activities, earn points and track their achievements as they focus on their physical health together.
Our Employee Support Program aids employees’ physical and emotional health, offering 24/7 access to specialists in stress, anxiety, depression, sleep, and more. Mental health is a broad subject, so it also covers life, home, education, and work matters, and is available to family members.
