In 2025, Trident Energy entered the Republic of Congo after signing an agreement with Chevron Corporation and TotalEnergies.
Located between 60 kilometers and 105 kilometers off the coast, Trident Energy operates and holds a working interest in the Nkossa, Nsoko II and Lianzi fields whilst holding a further working interest in the Moho–Bilondo field operated by TotalEnergies and SNPC.
