Trident Energy's role

Founded in 2012 and inspired by composer Heitor Villa-Lobos (‘Tuhu’), the de Tuhu Music Project aims to bring Brazilian music to young people nationwide. The project hosts workshops, concerts, lectures, and exhibitions to achieve this goal. Trident Energy is proud to sponsor this project through the Culture Incentive Law.

Outcome

Last month, the project delivered workshops to three public schools in Macaé. One of the three schools is located in the Lagomar community. The other two schools are attended by children who benefit from Casa do Abraço – an NGO we partner with to provide health, hygiene and food parcels.

Paula Sued, Director, Brasil de Tuhu Music Project

“Trident Energy’s co-sponsorship of Brasil de Tuhu helped expand the project’s reach, increasing children’s access to music education and showcasing our cultural heritage through Villa-Lobos.”
